TID has set up a tempting programme for new and existing operators combining practical instruction on a simulator and classroom training aiming at fundamental operational improvement. A simulator gives the possibility to train participants under specific conditions and enables trainers to show specific results and effects. Hazardous situations can be experienced without danger, risk or loss of production.
Level 1 cutter operator training (details)
Main objective: The goal of a level 1 training is to learn the participant to operate a cutter suction dredger, to minimize failures and breakdown of the equipment and to recognize the relationship between operational parameters and the dredging process.

Level 2 cutter operator training (details)
Main objective: The goal of a level 2 training is to learn the participant to operate a cutter suction dredger in the most efficient way by understanding the theoretical and practical principles of hydraulic transport and dealing with force during the dredging process and by a thorough understanding of the possibilities and constraints of the equipment.

Note!: The simulator course is a highly intensive course. Participants participate in a double shift program, meaning that during the workshops, lectures and simulator exercises the participants will get maximum personal attention.
