TID starts 2012 with an on the job training in Ecuador 30-01-12
In January TID had the pleasure to train train 20 engineers and 10 Cutter Suction Dredger operators in Ecuador.
The aim of this 3 week on the job training was to strengthen and consolidate the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills of the dredge operators and maintenance crew.
TID designs these on the job training programmes for Cutter Suction Dredger operators and maintenance crew without experience in dredging, but with at least a medium level of technical education.
Having finished this training the participants are now able to operate and maintain their dredge in a more economic and safer way and have a better understanding of governing processes in dredge operations.
