The Beaver Dredger, the standardized cutter dredger of IHC Merwede, is well known for its robust construction, reliable operation and excellent performance. Until now IHC Merwede has supplied over 700 pieces of these efficient dredgers.

However, an optimal operation not only requires a modern dredger: it needs a dedicated and well educated crew as well; a crew with sufficient knowledge and skills to seek the limits and optimum in operating a Beaver Dredger.

Training the dredge engineers improves the link between man and machine and the profitability of the operation. The Training Institute for Dredging offers a two-week training course for IHC Merwede clients owning a Beaver Dredger. In this course the equipment itself,  the maintenance of the equipment and troubleshooting is covered.
