Target group |
The General Dredging Course is aimed at managers and technical and operational staff involved in dredging operations, such as dredging companies, port authorities and consultants. In particular, participants with a technical education but a limited knowledge and experience of dredging, will benefit. The course will further improve participant's knowledge, leading to a more effective utilisation of dredging equipment. |

To raise the general knowledge on dredging of the participants. The course is focussed on the design and operation of various dredging equipment and covers all aspects of dredging such as dredging processes, equipment selection, soil characteristics, automation and control, dredge project management, etc. |

The course content can embrace all aspects of the dredging profession: preparation and execution of dredging projects, operation and maintenance of dredging equipment, the dredging processes etcetera.
